Kembali ke tahun 1959 ketika semua ini bermula. Tak ada yang bisa
membayangkan “EAM room” pada Building 26 MIT saat itu. Sebuah
ruangan baru di MIT, Massacusetts Institute of Technology tempat
dimana sebuah mesin yang bekerja seperti komputer tertidur pulas.
Saat itu tidak banyak orang yang dapat membayangkan sebuah mesin
pintar, sebuah komputer. Namun sebuah keberuntungan bagi beberapa
orang anak muda yang tergabung dalam ‘TECH MODEL RAILROAD CLUB’,
TMRC. Saat gerbang terbuka lebar, dan inilah saatnya untuk HACKING
dan menemukan bagaimana mesin ini bekerja.
Hacker adalah sebuah julukan bagi seorang programmer yang mampu
membuat sebuah aplikasi atau sebuah alogaritma pemecahan masalah
yang lebih baik dari pada yang telah dirancang bersama. Lebih luas
dari itu Hacker adalah orang yang bisa mengatasi keterbatasan dengan
cara yang lebih baik dan sederhana -bahkan terkesan unik-.
Seorang Hacker memiliki pola pikir yang mantap dalam menyelesaikan
permasalahan-permasalahan seputar logika dan analisa. Hal ini yang
banyak membuat Hacker melabelisasi diri sebagai seorang ‘NERD’.
Prinsip serupa yang dilakukan sebagai lompatan sosial dimana
kurangnya penghargaan masyarakat akan ‘jiwa/perilaku’ Hacker itu

Mengganti tulisan pada Start Menu (Win 98)
Windows Anda akan kelihatan lebih menarik jika tulisan-tulisan pada Start Menu diganti dengan tulisan yang lain.
Misalnya tulisan Start diganti dengan Mulai, Find diganti dengan cari, dll. Caranya pun cukup mudah,
Anda hanya perlu mengedit pada file C:Windowsexplorer.exe dengan hexa editor, misalnya Ultra Edit atau kalau
Anda menginstall Norton Utilities gunakan diskedit.exe.
Ada pun langkah2 komplitnya adalah sebagai berikut :
1. Copy file explorer.exe ke sembarang folder, misalnya ke C:.
2. Sekarang buka file explorer.exe hasil copy-an tadi dengan hexa editor kesayangan Anda.
3. Dari tabel di bawah ini cari posisi dari tulisan yang hendak Anda ganti. Misalnya Anda ingin mengganti tulisan
Shut Down. Pertama pindah ke posisi 000281e2h (untuk melihat posisi, perhatikan tulisan pada staturbar ultra edit,
terletak paling bawah). Kemudian ganti tulisan tersebut sesuai dengan yang Anda inginkan. Yang harus diperhatikan
adalah panjang tulisan tersebut harus sesuai dengan aslinya dan tiap huruf yang Anda tuliskan harus diselingi
dengan spasi (00h).
4. Kalau sudah restart komputer Anda ke mode DOS (restart in MS-DOS mode).
5. Rename file c:windowsexplorer.exe ke sembarang nama (misalnya explor.exe. Caranya ketik :
C:
C:cd windows
C:Windowsren explorer.exe explor.exe
6. Pindah lagi ke directory tempat Anda menyimpan file hasil copy-an explorer.exe (dalam contoh ialah C:).
Copy file hasil copy-an ke c:Windows. Caranya ketik :
C:Windowscd
C:copy explorer.exe c:windows
7. Masuk ke mode Windows dengan mengetikkan C:win dan tekan enter.

Beberapa tips dan registry dibawah ini cuma berlaku buat Windows XP.
Sebelum mengutak-atik Registry, ada baiknya melakukan backup terlebih dahulu.
1. Klik tombol Start > Run.
2. Ketik regedit dan tekan Enter setelah berada didalam jendela Run.
3. Didalam Registry Editor, pilih menu File > Export.
4. Setelah Export Registry File muncul, masukkan nama file ke bagian File Name, misalnya backup-registry dan sebagainya.

In contrast to exchange transactions with real supply or real currency the participants of FOREX use trading with a margin deposit; i.e. marginal or leverage trading. In marginal trading, each transaction has two obligatory stages (they can be divided by period of time, which can be as long as you like): buying (selling) of currency at one price, and then selling (buying) it at another (or at the same) price. The first transaction is called opening the position, the second one, closing the position.
Opening a position, a trader furnishes a deposit sum from 0.5 to 4 per cent of the credit line, granted for the transaction. So, in order to buy or sell 100,000 US dollars for Japanese yens, you will not need the whole sum, but only from 500 to 2000 US dollars depending on your policy of controlling risks. When the position is closed, the deposit sum returns, and calculation of profits or losses is done. All the profit or losses caused by the change of currency rates is credited on your account.
Let’s take a concrete example of getting a profit from the changing the rate of the Euro, from 0,9162 to 0,9292. If you have anticipated this change by using technical or fundamental analysis, you can buy the Euro cheaper for dollars, and then sell it back at a higher price. For example, if you choose leverage 1:100, then 99,000 dollars of the credit line, granted by the Internet broker, is added to 1000 dollars, and you buy the Euro at the price of 0.9162. Lagi-lagi situs yang berada dalam domain depkominfo.go.id berhasil ditembus. Entah siapa yang salah, Departemen Komunikasi dan Informatika (Depkominfo) yang kurang piawai memelihara situsnya atau memang para dedemit maya yang kelewat aktif untuk mengurus hal-hal yang mungkin menurut mereka asyik padahal bisa menimbulkan perseteruan.
Kini dedemit maya giliran mengacak-acak, alias men-dafece, situs yang beralamat di http://postel.depkominfo.go.id. Di halaman depan situs yang tertulis sebagai ‘Situs Resmi Direktorat Jenderal Pos dan Telekomunikasi – Depkominfo RI’ tersebut dipasang foto thumbnail di samping berita, yang mirip pemerhati teknologi informasi, Roy Suryo. Politisi sayap kanan Belanda, Geert Wilders mengirimkan film kontroversialnya Fitna yang kritis terhadap al-Qur’an ke internet.
Video dengan durasi 17 menit itu memuat potongan ayat-ayat Al-Quran di antara gambar pidato ulama radikal Islam, dan juga gambar-gambar tindak kekerasan.
Video tersebut dimuat di situs video sharing LiveLeak.
Film berjudul Fitna itu dirilis meskipun himbauan dari pemerintah Belanda agar tidak dilanjutkan.
Perdana Menteri Belanda Jan Peter Balkenende mengatakan, film itu secara keliru mempersamakan Islam dengan tindak kekerasan.
“Kami yakin [film] itu tidak memiliki tujuan lain, kecuali menyinggung,” kata PM Balkenende dalam suatu pernyataan.
Berita bahwa video itu sedang dibuat telah mengundang protes di sejumlah negara Muslim.
Wartawan BBC Geraldine Coughlan dari Den Haag melaporkan, Geert Wilders mengatakan, dia tidak menghendaki filmnya menjadi provokasi.

Geert Wilders’ anti-Islam movie has gone online. The film, titled Fitna or ‘Ordeal’ or ‘Strife’ in Arabic, shows verses of the Qur’an alternating with graphic scenes of recent acts of terror: the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers in New York, the charred bodies of train passengers in Madrid, gruesome images from atrocities in London and Somalia.
Those who have disbelieved our signs, we shall roast them in Hell”, according to Surah 4, verse 56, quoted in the 15-minute production. Wilders’ messages is clear: be warned because Islam’s true purpose is to conquer the world and destroy our freedom and democratic systems.
Towards the end, a hand is shown grabbing a page of the Qur’an; the image is accompanied by the sound of tearing paper. Dutch subtitles then explain that the sound was that of a page being torn from a telephone book. In a written declaration, Mr Wilders declares that it is not up to him to tear malicious verses out of the Koran, but that Muslims themselves must do that. Read the rest of this entry »
